How does logic work? i want to be able to see belt throughput at a glance, and also be able expand my storage for the nucleus. anyone have some tips for defense, i have the entire serpulo tech tree minus exponential reconstructor onwards. how do i defeat extreme and eradication difficulty to secure impact 0078 and nuclear production facility? thx for the help, and thx for reading this comment.
Hi! I have about 100 hours in this game in steam and try to answer your questions now. Logic works as a block program language: you can create cycles, check conditions and send commands with your logic processors. It is a lot of guides and ready programs in the Internet it for this. You can plase some storages right next to your nucleus to expand it's storage. You can see belt throughput if you click the bottom with "?" sign in bilding menu if you chose belt as a bilding object. About defense: believe me, it is rather funnier to find your strategy in it yourself. To defeat extreme and eradication difficulty i can advice you to explore tetrative reconstructor and use 5-tire units. It is almost impossible to beat it with 3-tire units. If you still have questions, don't b afraid to ask me, i would be glad to answer them. Also, I am sorry if my English is bad, it is not my native language :(
I knew about the core, im researching and making my own schematics for core and resources. i just found out that you can use the storage+unloader combo instead of belt monsters! thx for replying! I don't mind about the english, i can understand it, and that's all that matters to me. my current idea is to surround the core in meltdowns in case of emergency, and then i'll go conquer overgrowth. ive been playing in sandbox recently to experiment. I'll look online, and thx again!
I have bought Mindustry in Steam, it shows your playtime. About this function in Linux download version I don't know. Wish you good luck with your strategy!
I was thinking i could add some more storages around the core+vaults combo, enabling them if the core isn't maxed so that I can more easily recover from multiple losses in a row.
played for 50 hours and can't still understand how the logic processors work. and how to make those super compact machineries. though the game is still really really fun, overall the best, simpler than factorio but still as complicated
I heavily recommend using unloaders for them super compact schematics, given how they can extract resources off of, say, a pyratite mixer into other pyratite mixers, and since they don't accept anything but coal, sand, and lead, they won't clog (Also it makes it so you only need 1 input per resource, instead of 1 per resource for all the mixers)
Optimizing the placements is the bigger challenge
As for logic, i got no clue either xd
just ask for help i the discord, them guys are real generous

Also, how do you see your playtime on the linux download version?

Thanks, glad you approve! I also understand logic more now, ill keep testing it. if you have any good schematics, ill take them gladly!

It is a good idea! I have a very big sistem of storages on one of my sectors to send resources to other sectors and explore things.
I have this game on my phone and today I found it here

i understand... its really difficult to make compact machineries though but well they work. thanks mate!
